Môreson Trust
At the foot of the mountain, in the beautiful Vyeboom valley, lies Môreson Farm. A special place that truly personifies the beauty of the area. The morning sun (Môreson) hits the mountain on the farm before it lowers into the valley.
Môreson Farm started as a tree nursery in 1925 and moved to its current location in 1929. The entire area was virgin land, and the De Wet Cousins prepared the soil, and the first apple trees were planted. We've recently expanded to a new location near Greyton called Bergrede.
The brand, Mortru, found its existence in the name Môreson Trust. This is the brand that appears on the apple and pear boxes.
